International Programs

Utah State University has a national and international reputation for teaching, research, and service and takes seriously its land-grant mission of extending its educational resources to the populous of the state of Utah and throughout the world. USU is a Carnegie Foundation I Research University ranking in the top 5% of universities in the United States. Only 84 universities of 3,856 colleges and universities in the United States have this prestigious designation. Harvard University, Stanford University, and University of California at Berkeley, to name a few are also Carnegie I Research Universities. Utah State University has over 21,211 students served by seven academic colleges (Agriculture; Business; Education; Engineering; Humanities, Arts, and Social Science; Natural Resources; and Science). These colleges offer bachelor degrees along with 93 master and 36 doctoral degrees.

USU International Programs is the outreach arm of Utah State University. It has primary responsibility to deliver educational programs and the latest applied research to the world, hence the motto, “The World is Our Campus.” To help facilitate this delivery, USU utilizes a digital satellite-based or electronic distance education network to deliver state of the art (1) certificate programs, (2) associate degree programs, and (3) bachelor degree programs. Utah State University has an experienced international faculty with the instructional expertise to design and deliver educational programs and custom fit training needs.
